18 March 2025: Q&A with Doreen Thomson-Addo
Doreen Thomson-Addo is the founder of Joy After Miscarriage (@joy_after_miscarriage) and an advocate for improving recurrent miscarriage care and improving black maternal health.
She is a mother to one rainbow baby, following seven losses - including recurrent early miscarriages, an ectopic pregnancy, and a later loss too.
During this session, Doreen will share honestly about the ups and downs of her own fertility and grief journey, and about how her faith provided her with an anchor through it all.
At the end of the session, there will also be opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and to take part in some group discussion on the subject - but there is no pressure to all.
You’re welcome to participate at whatever level you feel able to - you can ask questions, anonymously post comments in the chat box, or just quietly listen in (with your camera on or off).
It really is your space!
